FretPulse

Privacy Policy

Last updated May 8, 2026

FretPulse is built as a local-first guitar tuner, metronome, setup diagnostic, room-health, and instrument journal app. The app is designed to keep everyday tuning and diagnostic work on your device unless you choose to use cloud sync.

Audio and Microphone

When you start the tuner or a diagnostic scan, FretPulse uses your microphone to estimate pitch, tuning stability, buzz signatures, and related setup clues. Audio is processed on your device for the app experience. FretPulse does not sell microphone data and does not upload raw audio for advertising.

Journal Photos and Notes

If you add photos, room readings, guitar notes, or repair findings, those records are stored locally in the app by default. If cloud sync is enabled, selected profile, room, finding, and journal data may be stored with our cloud provider so you can preserve records across sessions and devices.

Cloud Sync and Account Data

FretPulse may use Supabase for optional sync, authentication, database storage, and journal photo storage. If you sign in or sync, we may process account identifiers, timestamps, guitar profile data, room logs, setup findings, journal text, and uploaded journal images for the purpose of providing the app.

Diagnostics Are Advisory

FretPulse provides guidance based on tuning behavior, room readings, visible records, and user-entered observations. It is an advisory tool for guitar care and does not replace a qualified guitar technician.
